DMCA / Copyright Policy

Repair-Bay LLC (“Repair-Bay”, “we”, “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512. We respond expeditiously to valid notices reporting alleged copyright infringement.

Repair-Bay provides digital reference documentation through its own curated catalog. We do not claim ownership of, and are not affiliated with, the manufacturers whose products our manuals reference. All manufacturer names, logos, and model designations are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification and reference only.

1. Submitting a Copyright Notice (DMCA §512(c)(3))

If you believe that material made available on or through Repair-Bay infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent (by email or by mail, or using the form below) that includes:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or a representative list of such works.
• Identification of the infringing material and its URL or specific location so we can locate it.
• Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Providing false information in a notice may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

3. Our Response

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified. We may notify affected parties and, where appropriate, share relevant information with the parties to the dispute as part of the takedown process.

4. Counter-Notification (DMCA §512(g))

If content is removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] including:

• Identification of the removed material and its previous location.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the removal was due to error or misidentification.
• Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in the State of Delaware and accepting service from the original complainant.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

If a valid counter-notice is received, access to the material may be restored after 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy (DMCA §512(i))

Repair-Bay may suspend or terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers. We maintain internal records of DMCA actions taken to enforce this policy.
